It’s now settled and there will be no turning back. I will be going to the Aero Theater to see “Hickey and Boggs” and Mr. Culp on the 18th. Fortunately I was able to convince Shelby Clavell to go with me. With Shelby along I can use the carpool lane without having to prop up my blowup doll in the passenger seat. My “good” jacket is at the cleaners and they’ve promised it to me by Friday, so I should be looking my best. I will give as complete a report of the event as I am capable when, at some future date, I return from Santa Monica.
