As I posted the other day, Digital Music Group signed a deal with
YouTube last week to show "I SPY" and several other shows.
I went over to
YouTube, and they did not have any of the episodes up, BUT they did have this minute long promo video from DMG - very nice!! (I didn't recognize all the scenes!) ... The video is entitled "I SPY (FOR FREE)" ...

To the side of it, in the information section for this video, this link was listed ....

... which leads to the website for "AOL Video - In2TV" for "I SPY."
There were 10 episodes listed, but it is
NOT up and running yet. When you click on any of the episodes, you will receive this message - "We're sorry, the clip you are trying to play is not currently available. Please excuse this inconvenience and try again later. [EC-NAF]."

At first I thought it might be my connection, because when I checked on the "Downloads" and "Full screen DVD quality videos available" links, it said you needed a Windows operating system (not great for us loyal Mac users!) I suspect that these are both additional
paid options available, but it wouldn't let me check further.
But I hunted around a bit more, and discovered that the "I SPY" videos are
just not available as yet, because I
was able to play several "Man from U.N.C.L.E." episodes without a problem.
They have several U.N.C.L.E. episodes up and running including the one with both Nimoy and Shatner pre-
Star Trek episode, "THE PROJECT STRIGAS AFFAIR."

The episodes I checked on were all black and white and on a small screen (they do offer different connection speeds). For these episodes the regular FULL SCREEN option button "did" work on my Mac! The Full screen is size-able, but the smaller views are far clearer. Their instructions said to exit "Full screen," hit ESC. It didn't work.)
They also all start with a fairly short advertisement video, not too bad, though.
OK, I don't know if Digital Music Group is eventually planning to show "I SPY" directly on
YouTube, or if it will continue to route you through "AOL Video - In2TV." Their deal was just announced last week, so it may take some time to get settled.
Anyway, there are lots of different shows available on AOL-In2TV - and they are a delight to have -
free - and yours at the click of your mouse.
If anyone hears any more about this - or gets the "I SPY" episodes to load, please let us know. And if any of you are AOL members, perhaps you could send them a note to find out more about when "I SPY" will be available. There is no way to connect to an actual AOL "help" person unless you have their paid membership. (I asked some friends with a "free" AOL membership to check, and their membership did not include "help support.")
