REPORT on MITCHELL/ROBINSON UNDERCOVER ASSIGNMENT
CODE NAME: AERO THEATER
Sirs:
I am pleased to report that Agent Mitchell has filed a "successfully completed" dossier.
On the night of February 18th at approximately 18:00 hours, Agent Jimmy Mitchell (with the assistance of Ms. Clavell) rendezvoused with Agent Kelly Robinson at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, CA. Ms. Clavell, formerly assigned to the Mexico City Embassy's Accounting Office was an excellent choice to accompany Agent Mitchell as her fondness for the movies is well-known.)
Agent Robinson who was undercover for the evening disguised as an actor named Robert Culp (this cover worked well, as they do have a slight resemblance...) was waiting for Agent Mitchell at the top of the aisle as pre-arranged.
Agent Mitchell then proceeded to hand him Cushman and LaRosa's I SPY BOOK, with the microdot inserted on the upper corner of the cover page. Agent Robinson easily retrieved the dot as he signed Agent Mitchell's book.
Agent Robinson, meticulous as always, delivered a good forgery of Culp's signature - we are not too sure about the happy face, though.
Agent Mitchell and Ms. Clavell easily blended with the crowd, remained for the showing of the "Hickey & Boggs" movie, and departed undetected.
It is now safe to release Mr. Culp, thank him, and tell him his services are no longer needed for the Agency training film in Lower Moldavia - use the 'ol "budget cuts to the department" line.
And a request, sirs ... Mr. Mitchell's "good" jacket is over 40 years old. Do you think we could spring for a new one, as a thank you for his exemplary service.
We understand Mr. Culp's daughter Rachel is an innovative clothing designer. Perhaps we could commission her for the job knowing Agent Mitchell's inventive and creative tastes in jackets.
Over and out Sirs.
