A Question for Mr. Mitchell

I was looking back at your amazing posts relating to the location audio tapes. The recorder manufacturer for the "Karlovassi" episodes is listed as Nagra, and I was wondering if that was the only brand of recorder used. My grandfather was a sound engineer and a pioneer in reel-to-reel magnetic recording. I know he worked with Glen Glenn quite a bit, but can't find any records on our side. It's a long shot, but I'm just curious, did you come across the name "Stancil" or "Stancil-Hoffman"?
