Response to Interviews and the Playboy Connection for Both Mr. C's ...

Hi Tatia, that was me that asked about the Playboy thing. Thanks for remembering and for all the added information. Oh my gosh, that article about the '60s fashions was funny! How times change. It was interesting to read about Mr. Culp and Robert Wagner as two of the fashion icons. I have noticed in the I Spy credits a number of names which I thought I recognized from It Takes a Thief - another show that I watched as a kid but haven't seen in many years. I thought Robert Wagner was gorgeous! Wish they would bring that out on DVD, too. Of course, Mr. Culp and Natalie Wood appeared together in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. So I guess there was a lot of overlap among the various stars and crew in the '60s.

I was also intrigued by Mr. Cosby's suggestion in the '69 Playboy interview that he thought had Season Four happened, they would have done a couple of episodes "where there’d be no script, no nothing: they’d just walk around kind of improvising," as well as "more scripts for Bob carrying a whole show by himself." Oh, to turn back the hands of time! I would've loved to see both those concepts fulfilled, wouldn't you?

All the best,
Becca
