Hi Becca,

Yup, both our Mr. C's were smokers ... Culp had his cigarettes and Cosby cigars!

Cos in younger years ....

and according to Answers.com - Bill was even on the cover of "Cigar Aficionados" Magazine in 1994.

......

As for Bob - those demon ciggies even had him corrupting poor, innocent little birds ...

... but according to this August, 2001 article "Robert Culp: How He Solved His Bone/Joint Problems" in the "Journal of Longevity" that is all something of the past.

"Do you have a philosophy of life that keeps you going? You seem to have been very methodical and careful about your health—except for that time you went for your letter.

Hey, listen, you’re forgiven anything when you’re 16. When I think about it, I just do what I’m told. My family doctor is the reason I quit smoking. He said, “You need to stop smoking. Period.” I did, and I haven’t thought about it since.

It was the same thing with alcohol. I used to drink moderately, but I just threw it away one day and said, “That’s it.” I never thought about it again. That was 15 years ago."

I hope both Mr. C's have stopped puffing away - and are continuing to look after their health. As Kelly Robinson said in that "Cosby Reunion - MY SPY" episode ... "We need you, Scotty!" ... and the reverse is definitely true for our Kelly!

As always,
Tatia
