There is a wonderful book out there called "Photo by Sammy Davis Jr." - essentially a bound volume of Sammy's candid pictures. One of them features Sammy, Bob and Bob's second wife (and the mother of four of his five kids) Nancy from the 60s. However, she is identified as "Unidentified woman" underneath. Seeing this transgression, I quickly tracked down Burt Boyar, the Sammy Davis biographer and editor of the photo book and told him of this mistake. He was deeply apologetic and in fact, had already been roundly chastised by May Britt, Sammy's former wife, for the omission. Burt was very sweet about the whole thing and promised to have her name re-instated when the book comes out in paperback. Thought you'd all appreciate that story.
