Thanks for sharing your insight. I think Mr. Culp's wariness concerning fans after his many years in show business. I've never had the opportunity to speak with him, but I've always wanted to thank him. Even though I was born five years after I Spy ended, I discovered the show when I was about 10. It fascinated me, and when I saw that Mr. Culp had written my favorite episode ("Home to Judgment"), I was inspired to start writing my own stories, and I've been writing ever since. I don't know how to convey my thanks to him without being another fan he has to deal with. Perhaps just putting the sentiment out there will be enough.
