"It's the longest I've ever had to wait for anything in my life," spokesman David Brokaw said the comedian told him when he asked about the milestone Cosby reaches on Thursday. He added that Cosby has no special plans for celebrating the day.
Instead he has kept busy lately working with Alvin F. Poussaint, professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, on a book they plan to publish in the fall called "Come on, People! On the Path from Victims to Victors."
The book expounds on the themes Cosby has raised during community meetings he has held around America in recent years in which he has exhorted fellow members of the black community to address issues including high school dropout rates, crime and teenage pregnancy. >>
