Response to The I Spy Movie We'll Never See

I just realized that I posted innacurate information, which I know on this site could result in Tatia lampooning me with numerous screen captures of bad 'I Spy' villains.

The 'I Spy' movie that Bob wrote (in all their incarnations) was for Warner Bros., who had bought the rights from Sheldon. It was at Bill's insistence that Bob write and direct, or he wouldn't do it. Then 'Leonard Part 6', Bill's ill-fated spy-comedy-Coca Cola product placement debacle was released and quickly tanked at the box office, which resulted in the studio pulling the plug.

Sheldon's involvement had to do with sinking Bob's original ideas for the TV movie.

Needless to say all of this is in the book, but I thought, to exonerate myself, I would re-state it here.

Yours,

MBF
