Response to Oh dear!

Oh, well -- stupid me, always behind the times! I didn't realize this had been discussed so extensively!

As amusing as your Alien Replacement theory is, I must confess I'm still curious what Mr. Culp's (and the writer-director's) original intentions were regarding this film, beyond simply making money. As I said, what I saw of his performance (not just the dirty bits) looked like it had a lot of power in it, and I have to believe that someone of his stature (at least, at that point) does not just take it all off unless he feels strongly about the project -- is that ignorant of me?

Also, I have the sinking feeling, from Tatia's comment that she should have been "careful what she asked for", that possibly I exceeded the boundaries of "delicacy and decorum" in jumping into the discussion of backsides with a little too much girlish enthusiasm! I try to keep my lascivious mouth shut, but once I get started .... ! Maybe I'll have to look into this Culpalicious business. Is there a Cosby-licious?

regards,

Dotterer
