Response to I Guess We Should Be Thankful That "I SPY" Is On DVD

Hi Russ,

Really interesting article ....

What?? "We" are not the ONLY ones out there "keeping the flame alive" for our beloved show!!

And we REALLY are fortunate that we have the whole "I SPY" series on quality DVDs - with the Culp's commentaries, too!!
So glad "Image Entertainment" had such good taste (and good sense) to go ahead with this project!!

As for all the Joe Mannix fans, I hope that article spurs some interest for them - ( hey, if it works, we could try a Hoby Gilman "TRACKDOWN" DVD campaign !! )

And I found this in the Loring Photo Archives ...

Bob was a guest on "Hollywood Squares" in 2004 for their "Crime Fighters Week."

Don't know if he was representing Kelly Robinson, Hoby Gilman, Bill Maxwell or all the other "law enforcement" guys he's played over the years ... but here he is with Mannix, the guys from Adam-12 - Marty Milner and Ken Cord, Erik Estrada (from ChiPs), Brad Garrett (Officer Barone on "Everybody Loves Raymond"), Hal Linden (Barney Miller), Dennis Weaver (McCloud and Chester from "Gunsmoke"), and more. (I won't even mention the "He's Worked with Everybody Out There Twice" connections ..... )

Hollywood Squares 2004 "Crime Fighters Week"

As always,

Tatia
