I really enjoyed these photos sites of Mykonos and Santorini (and your updates on the M.U.N.C.L.E. DVDs, too)! Loved Vaughn's comment about his age when the show was on!!

Au contraire!! .... Where have you been? I am amazed at how little so many of the I SPY locales have changed in over 40 years!! .... Just use the "Search" box and type in "THEN & NOW" - and you will see a plethora of places of "I SPY" locales that amazingly (more often than not) look a good deal the same as they had in the late 60s --- timeless treasures! Yep, Tash here, has been knocking herself out trying to match up recent "I SPY" location photos - from myself and other intrepid FORUM travelers - to point out all these similarities.
Here's a grouping of Santorini photos set around the HOTEL ATLANTIS. I don't have any wide shots of the hillside in my "I SPY" files, but there may have been some in the episode. The hillside has always been heavily dotted with homes, restaurants, and hotels .... because of the view in Thera (or Fira) - of the caldera of an old volcano in the center of their beautiful bay, that is even
more picturesque at sundown.

and here are some photos from the "Lotus Eater" - not all that different ....
Searching thru the "THEN & NOW" photos on the FORUM, you'll find the ruins of Ostia, the Palm Spring Tramway buildings, the doors (and buildings) in Taxco, Mexico, as well as the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, and Chapultapec Castle (the gardens and building are in both featured in "Conquest of Maude Murdoch" and "Day Called for Jaguar." Then there are the shots of Italy taken in Florence at the Piazzale Michangelo overlooking the Ponte Vecchio, and of the bridges and galleries in Venice. And in Spain, the buildings in Sevilla - especially at the Plaza de Espana where Kelly strolled with Boris Karloff. And most recently Suite 635 photos of the "Peninsula Hotel" in Hong Kong (though changed, still much is the same.) And we even have your shots of Janitzio Island and Lake Patzcuaro that started us off on the THEN & NOW photos. Fortunately, 40 years has not changed some of these sites that much!!
..... and if any one out there has any more THEN & NOW photos of "I SPY" locales, please post them or e-mail them to me, and I'll be happy set them up in THEN & NOW sets.
