Hi!
Yep, another installment of
"We Watch, So You Don't Have To" ....
Following up on the last batch of eBay goodies, for those interested, that selection of
all 6 I SPY Comic books .... which was initially listed at $9.00 - sold for $37.99 + 4.60 postage.
The
Mexican I SPY comic that was going for $9.99 - with a $10.00 shipping fee - didn't sell ...
And that 3 inch
Argentinean I SPY Fridge Magnet that didn't fly off the shelves at $9.99 (+ 5.50 for international shipping) ...... well, hope springs eternal, they've relisted it - AT the same price! Again mucho good luck with this one .... after all, that bag of " I SPY Marbles" did find a home.

And onto our newest offerings ....
This one is listed with Bulwer-Lytton in mind. Sorry, I couldn't find any I SPY stamps out there, but this is the closest I could come up with - a
Spanish I SPY postcard. It comes from the "Alfonso Franco Collection" from Granada, Spain - their site is in Spanish, so I have no idea what this thing costs. (They do say it is 60 years old - a bit
more vintage than possible, I think.) But here it is for your viewing pleasure .....

And I have no idea where I ran across this one! It is a photo of
Hoby Gilman himself with the "world's oldest actress." (No Dolores Del Rio cracks from the Peanut Gallery, please.) The accompanying info. says ....
(1959) - Robert Culp and world's oldest actress. Original photo of the actor with Adeline de Walt Reynolds in an episode of Trackdown .... "On TRACKDOWN's sun-baked set, 95-year old Adeline de Walt Reynolds, oldest active actress, is greeted by the star of the CBS Television Network western, Robert Culp. The pair will team in a moving chapter of the Texas ...."

and then there's this truly strange one ....
It is a
Commemorative I SPY Collector's Coin that is up on eBay. I have no idea what it was for, except the blurb on the photo says something about "Come by for a spin at the PRO booth in Las Vegas".... ?? So maybe it was a trade show or something and the Peter Rodgers Organization (who hold the rights for "I SPY") was doing some kind of promotional thing. The information says the coin is NOT from 1965 - and it comes with a "description promotional brochure."
Ready??? .. .. They are asking $39.99 plus $4.80 shipping!!! (Makes that deal on the Argentinean Fridge Magnet look good, huh??

)
O.K. here it is - "Bill Cosby Robert Culp I SPY Commemorative Collector Coin"
