Tatia doesn't usually "stop" too often ... but this last week recovering from my cough & cold, I've been at home and had time to hunt around the net and check up on sites and to hunt around and find some new ones. And I've been learning more about these great "embedding" codes, I found on You Tube.

Before I share my latest "discoveries," a small bit of administrative business first. For the next few weeks, I am going to be adding I SPY FORUM - Robert Culp & Bill Cosby to the title of my postings, to see if this helps GOOGLE pick up the FORUM any better ....

We had been listed in the No. 1 slot (or at least on the first page of Google) for a long time, for these I SPY terms. Then a few years ago, Network54 added several "Spam Guards" to avoid widespread Spam attacks over their site. The blocks worked, but they strongly affected Google's automated webcrawlers and pushed most of Network54's sites way back on Google's listings. (People wrote in to Network 54's administrative pages, but nothing was to be done, since the blocks were successfully keeping the Spam controlled.) ..... We are on pages 1 or 2 for most every other search engine, like Yahoo, AOL, Dogpile, MSN, AlltheWeb, etc. And we are linked to lots and lots of other sites. I don't know why Google can't find us as easily, since these other sites apparently can. (On AlltheWeb, they have 29 pages of just FORUM photos .....)

So I'll try adding this phrase to the title of my postings for awhile and see if it helps at all - probably not, but it's worth a shot .... Any computer whizzes out there with any other suggestions??

We like it here at Network54 - they are nice people to work with - and we are comfortable with our format.

We have also discovered that Network54 doesn't accept mp3 or .wav files, and we have gotten around it with Jimmy's solution of adding an "X" to the file name. But, Tatia has just discovered that they might not like mp3 and .wav files, but they DO take "embedded files" with those codes.

O.K. so here's my first discovery, a TRACKDOWN website!!

There are few inaccuracies in the text section, but the BEST part is that they have included an audio file of TRACKDOWN's beginning and theme - something I've never seen up before. And with my brand new "embedding" skills in place .... here it is (It sounds like it authentically comes from the 1950s.) You'll need to press the arrow to PLAY and give it a few seconds to begin.

TRACKDOWN's Theme

Here's the website with several photos included.

And after testing out TRACKDOWN's theme, I went back and figured out how to add the "Broken Ballad" file - that's the one with "our Singing Bob" from the BONANZA episode.

Here are 2 FORUM postings with photos and info. about the episode.

So for all of you who had any difficulty downloading from Jimmy's original audio site, here it is, ready to play.

Singing Cowboy Bob (sorry, dear Dotterer, I still like it alot!! )

ENJOY!!
