BIG THANKS to OUR intrepid
Russ Conway for going way above and beyond the call of duty by making TWO trips out to BRACKET (a.k.a. Crestline, CA) to get these wonderful THEN & NOW shots for us. Not only that, but he sent on the screen captures he matched the location shots with, so I could put these together for your enjoyment.

Mr. Conway's sleuthing skills are well honed, being able to accurately identify which town BRACKET actually was. But then again, he is also the explorer who discovered the exact street corner where the laundromat in "Trial by Treehouse" was located
. And several years ago he sent back those terrific photos of Janitzio Island and Lake Patzcuaro from "Spy Business" and "Turnabout for Traitors."
