I have a little more information for you on Bob's poetry readings. He did 2 D.H. Lawrence's poems
Autumn at Taos and
Mountain Lion for some educational collaboration in the late 1980s. I believe it may have been the University of Nebraska and PBS, but I am not sure. A group called the "First Poetry Quartet" performed readings along with many well known actors and actresses.
These were later packaged commercially and available from several sources. I've seen the two Culp D.H. Lawrence readings on different videos, several years ago. They were both excellent, but short --- he's on a horse out in the wilderness, magnificent majestic wooded scenery (and as mentioned below - this was in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Taos, New Mexico). He stops his horse and recites these moving D.H. Lawrence classics - and then rides away - very powerful and very well done!!
The original websites I had listed for these are no longer working.
But I did find this .... and it sounds as if both of Culp's D.H. Lawrence readings are on it.
It's a VHS titled
D.H. Lawrence: Restless Spirit.
