UNEQUAL???

HI!
AS far as I know CULP was not offered the role of Robert McCall, but the producer stated that several executives "SAW" him in this role. Certainly I could see it, but I am happy with Edward Woodward. I certainly concur his relationship with Control (Robert Lansing) was fascinating. What a great layered character to sink your teeth into!! Apparently Mr Lansing and Mr Woodward sustained an amazing friendship during and after the series.
As an aside, Dick Wolf approached the Producer and mentioned how impressed he was with the New York car chase scenes. He was going to do this new "little" series called Law and Order. Mr Wolf ended up using the same film crew.
