Tatia, I’m glad you keep track of anniversaries and birthdays and stuff like that for us, because otherwise they could easily slip by unacknowledged. I completely forgot about the I Spy anniversary, and now run the risk of being asked to stop wearing my Persol sunglasses indoors, as punishment.
I feel Mona’s pain, but one shirtless Kelly goes a long way with me, so no complaint on that account. Your Kelly-Scotty collage is wonderful. My mother was remiss in warning me to avert my eyes when Kelly went after those girls. So I took notes. Not that I ever found a way to put the information to use.
Forty-three years sounds like a long time, but in that odd way that the perception of the past telescopes as you get older, the beginning of I Spy doesn’t seem any more shrouded in antiquity now than it did in the seventies.
