Hi Russ & Tatia. I grew up in the era of 12 cent comic books too. It helped develop good math skills. You had to be able to multiply by 12 in your head to figure out how many comics you could buy with the change in your pocket. I remember very clearly the day in 1969 when I visited the magazine dealer in front of the pool hall where I was buying comics, and all the new comics were 15 cents. It blew my nice comfortable perception of an unchanging world right out of the water!
