Hi there Mr. Conway - sir,

This is just for you .... (well O.K., I guess everyone can look!)

You always taught us to be extremely thorough in our research in your classes at SPY SCHOOL (well, so did Col. Benkovski in his).

SO ....

Here's the Guadalajara Hilton when our guys were helping out

the two-colored eye Senator in "Suitable for Framing" in 1968.

And here is the current Guadalajara Hilton.

And thanks to all the trivia and tidbits strewn across the internet, I discovered that "this" Hilton was acquired in 1998.

But also lurking on the internet were many other factoids, like the years that all the skyscrapers were built in Guadalajara. Not that many were listed built over 40 + years ago, but there was ONE likely candidate - the hotel Mision Carlton Guadalajara . This was the only building that I saw that looked quite similar to the old Hilton (with that specific window design). And it was built in 1965 with renovations done in 2004.

Want to bet a peso, that this could be the old Hilton??

(Do I get an "A," Mr. Conway?? happy.gif )

Anyone out there familiar with Guadalajara or who knows anything about these hotels??

As always,
