That's interesting Mona. Reading what I wrote above, with the benefit of an hours hindsight, I realize I didn't make it clear that Cushman and LaRosa in their book said that Lake Hollywood was where the opening to The Andy Griffith Show was filmed (page 51). So I guess either Cushman/LaRosa or the author of the Wikipedia entry is wrong.
