Ray Bradbury and The Long Years

Hi Sue,

That's a perfect description of Ray Bradbury - "entertaining, but a little disturbing." I think Mr. Bradbury would appreciate that description himself.

One of his stories that I do particularly like was THE LONG YEARS. O.K. having our Mr. Culp portray John Hathaway as the main character on "Ray Bradbury Presents" probably helped a great deal. I understand that Jack Warden was in a similar story on "The Twilight Zone," but I don't remember seeing it.

Have you seen this one? It is from 1990 .... and though there is the requisite odd twist to the story, there is also a definite charm to this one, which is often lacking in his other tales.
