I'm finally getting around to answering
Tatia's question from a few months ago.
When I was a kid I pictured myself as Alan Loden (gender bending notwithstanding), mainly so I could play those terrific scenes on the cliff and at the beach with Kelly.
These days I'd prefer to skip the sex-change operation--sounds uncomfortable anyway--and go with Lindy McGowan. She's smart, she's independent, she loves Kelly without getting goopy over him, and she wasn't taken in for a minute by the tennis bum cover story. Hats off once again to Michael Zagor for his excellent scripting. He's given us not only a riveting story in Room with a Rack, but also a strong, believable heroine.
Regards--
