I'm Back .... Bearing Gifts :-)

Hi Everyone,

I'm back - long assignment, but a girl has to do, what a ... etc.

I couldn't get a decent computer connection while I was away , so I have been catching up on all the postings since my return.

Loved the "Veiled Threats" Quiz, B-L. So glad girl spies aren't using the old Mata Hari get-up these days .... it must have gotten quite chilly on those Alaska and northern Canada assignments.





And what an intriguing topic, Mona, "Cool Kelly or Not?" I'll be adding something there later on.


O.K. I return bearing gifts ... here's a little something for your viewing enjoyment.


Our Bob appeared on lots of quiz and game shows over the years - $100,000 Pyramid, The Match Game, Stump the Stars-Pantomime Quiz, Password, Hollywood Squares, Celebrity Bowling, etc. etc.

One show that he appeared on several times was Tattletales starring the charming Bert Convy. It was a game show where husbands and wives were asked somewhat personal questions and their spouses were to guess how they answered. Three different celebrity couples appeared each week.





According to the sites I could find, Bob appeared with Mrs. #4, Sheila Sullivan, twice, and once with Mrs. Culp #5, Candace Faulkner.


Here are two segments from his 2nd appearance with Sheila from August, 1974.


The first set of three has a little fuzzy section running across the bottom of screen - it's well-worth watching through it. The second group is fine.

From what I could find, Robert also appeared on Tattletales with Sheila in May, 1974 along with Christopher & Lynda Day George and Gary & Barbara Crosby - and with Candace in late September of 1982 along with Peter Brown and ? and Joe Sharkey & Marcia Wallace. Hopefully this person will be posting more segments on YouTube in the future.
