Yep, B-L, about the coldest Scotty and Kelly got was the COPS & ROBBERS Philadelphia sound stage in L.A.!
WELLLL ... you can take Spenser's (and Robert B. Parker's) view of a D.C. snowstorm vs. a Boston one and .......
We certainly don't have as many, but the ones we do have can be doozies!!
I think I'll go with Robert Frost's snow poems instead. "Of wind that caught against the house a moment, Gulped snow,
and then blew free again ..."
What - did he say "Gulped" or "Culped"????
(B-L, he may not have gone on any "cold weather" assignments on I SPY, but he had a good taste in A COLD NIGHT's DEATH (a.k.a. CHILL FACTOR) with Eli Wallach and that bunch of monkeys.)
Well, Thanks to our Bob, we don't need any other help here, thank you very much.
The yardstick - and it was still snowing
My mailbox
A winter wonderful from my window -
and we had hours of snow after this ...
But happily Robert arrived with an extra large supply of I SPY DVDs and plenty of Bob Movies.
Nothing kept him from making it here ...
He even helped Faithful Tonto shovel the snow -
Unfortunately, the snow picked up in intensity and
he was a bit frozen by the time he came in.
But not to worry, I made him a nice hot cup of his favorite Nescafe and he thawed out quite nicely ...
As always,
Tatia (awaiting our next snowstorm predicted for Tuesday

)
P.S. How are you rain-sodden folks out West doing??
