Hi!

I'm just back from doing some traveling and am off again "on assignment" next week, too.

I just wanted to catch up a bit with all the great postings that have come along this week. First, Becca, that was one fantastic LET'S KILL KARLOVASSI review you posted. As Jimmy mentioned, not everyone responds when episode reviews are posted, as they may think it takes a bit more time to put together than just a regular post. But we'd love to have more exchanges and discussions - and to hear everyone's opinions and viewpoints on the different episodes. I think the "episode reviews" are the best part of the FORUM, and they always make me aware of things I never noticed before. Thanks Jimmy for your most excellent job as "grand pooh-bah of the episode reviews" and keeping us going. So you lurkers out there, come on in - we'd love to hear from you! And we are so glad Cate (and her screen captures) have joined us, too!

I'll post something under your thread as soon as I get a chance. You really did a great job, Becca.

As for you Mr. Mitchell - you outdid yourself again by sharing more of your terrific audio location clips. It is amazing hearing them go over the same scene over and over and over - and still make it fresh and animated each time. And then to compare all that with the "finished" take that we are familiar with in the "final" scene used on air. Thanks again so much for these Jimmy!!

And thanks Stefan for all the "Chill Factor / Cold Night's Death" info. I'll post something there also as soon as I get a chance. So nice to hear from Suite 635 - thanks for sharing those great rare video sites. I had never heard of them before.

I have several new things to post also, and will try to get them up as soon as I can.

In the meantime, I'm delighted reading the "wonderfulness" of all the new posts.

As always,
Tatia

Nice Review of Marc and Linda's I SPY Book ....

June 6 2007, 10:02 PM

Hi again!

Still catching up here ...

Here's a great review of "our" book - yes, yes "our" book - if it's not for us, who is it for??

This is from the CINEMA RETRO Magazine ...

http://www.cinemaretro.com/index.php

The review is by Lee Pfeiffer from March 2007

I did run across one error - the review says "Robert Culp provides a brief foreword and the authors acknowledge his extensive help during the writing of this book. They have also tracked down and interviewed many other people with ties to the series, though sadly, Cosby is a non-participant." Cosby certainly did participate, and I found his comments in the book very interesting. He didn't contribute as much as our Mr. Culp, who helped the authors a great deal, but the "other" Mr. C is certainly well represented.

This is a large photo of the article, please give it a bit of time to load ... if you have problems, check out the original article at the URL listed below.
