I recently heard from Danny Biederman, the author of "The Incredible World of SPY-Fi" .... and collector extraordinaire of Spy TV and Movie memorabilia. His
SPY-Fi Collection is currently on display at the "Queen Mary" in Long Beach, CA - through January - and was exhibited here in Washington at the "International Spy Museum."

Danny's Book (there's a section on "I SPY" in it)

Danny with part of his collection ...

And that's Danny on the far left - and Kelly Robinson himself -
signing his tennis racket from "I SPY," which Danny brought to SPYFEST.
The signed racket is now part of his SPY-FI Collection.
Danny wrote and said to check out the
official C.I.A. website .....
because it features an article entitled
"SPY-Fi Archives: Where the Worlds of Entertainment and Intelligence Collide."
For the following links, you will need to cut and paste them. The C.I.A. has a note on their website, that they have changed all their URLs from "http" to the more secure, encrypted "https" - "to assure visitor confidentiality." Since Network54 does not recognize "https" as links, you will need to cut and paste!! (I feel like I'm back in Russ Conway's SPY SCHOOL class with Dr. Akivic watching.)
The article "SPY-Fi Archives: Where the Worlds of Entertainment and Intelligence Collide."

Aahh .... TV and Movie Spies and the "real" deal - together - curiouser and curiouser!!
You can also take the C.I.A. Virtual Tour of the SPY-Fi Archives highlights at:
https://www.cia.gov/about-cia/cia-museum/spy-fi-archives/index.html
and find the C.I.A.'s profile of Danny, too!

Here's their main site, also, for those of you interested.

O.K., O.K., so the C.I.A.'s website can't actually be putting out that much information/news for the general public on what they are really doing, now can they ??
I had once read that over 90% of the people working at N.A.S.A. had grown up with - and been influenced by - STAR TREK. Well, it sure looks like the gang over at the C.I.A. were probably watching Kelly & Scotty, and Napoleon & Illya, and Mrs. Peel & John Steed, and Max & 99, etc., etc. ..... during their formative years!

Thanks Danny ... nice article.
All my best,
Tatia
