I was up in Crestline (a.k.a. Bracket) and Lake Arrowhead today scouting out some filming locations from "A Few Miles West of Nowhere" and "This Guy Smith."

I was always under the impression that the "Scotty-drinking-milk" and "Scotty-almost-getting-stuck-by-a-pitchfork" scenes from "This Guy Smith" were shot at Lake Arrowhead Village in a complex that has since been razed. Now, I'm not so sure. I'm beginning to think those scenes were filmed at what used to be the North Shore Tavern resort and is now the UCLA Conference Center.

Compare these two photos and tell me if you think that's the same building in the background. I think it is. Plus, on a map of the UCLA Conference Center, the tennis courts (where Scotty and the bad guy were headed) are correctly situated in relation to this building in question.

I solicit the Forum's opinion.

Both of them lookin' good, but one just a bit older than the other - with a few alterations made along the way.
