He does make reference to one of the
Columbos that Culp appears in, but the anecdote itself isn’t about Bob.
However, you’ll find out:
| | what famous director bit Falk during the filming of a movie |
| | how he got the green light to direct an episode of Columbo |
| | why he addressed a personal message to the people of Romania |
| | who refers to him (no doubt affectionately) as “the dumbest actor in America” |
Culp would probably not agree with that last opinion; you may recall that in part 1 of his
I Spy commentaries, he describes Falk’s work as “superb.”
