O.K. Here are the last of the videoclips I gathered ifrom my hunt through YouTube - a view samplings of movie trailers ...
First up OUTRAGE - the film, supposedly based on a real story, about the California veterinarian whose family is threatened by his affluent neighborhood teen-age thugs. Bob takes exception to this "big-time" and retaliates in his own inimitable way. To me, the best part of this film is that both Marlyn Mason (Vicki in "Weight of the World" - this time around she really is married to Bob) and Beah Richards (Mom) co-star!!
I also had a clip from the excellent DEAD ZONE episode "The Man Who Never Was," but it has already been removed from YouTube. So again, watch these videoclips as soon as you can, you never know how long they will be up.
ENJOY!!
And beginning next week, I am going to be away for several weeks - and will hopefully bring back some primo I SPY location photos with me. If I can get to a computer while I'm away, I'll check in.
So keep the campfires burning - and I'm looking forward to hearing more about those new I SPY DVDs. Are they worse than the originals - or - a bargain bonanza??
I'll be in San Francisco next month, so perhaps I can track some of those locales (I know, they're the easy ones!) -- regardless, I have received Season One in the mail today, so I can verify the quality lack thereof shortly...the biggest problem seems the tight packaging -- disc one of season three cracked in half when I tried to pull it out of the case (returned it to Best Buy, which didn't have any replacement copies -- they're selling well, it seems!)...but I'm going to start watching the eps again from number one (broadcast order, anyway) starting tonight, so the new releases have inspired me to get back to regular SPY watching!
Enjoy your travels, but be wary of any modern day Kelly Robinsons...they'll love you and leave you, or love you and seek revenge once you've been killed...either way, not so good for you!
I really enjoyed all three of those Culp movies myself. Culp was great in Santa's Slay and the fight scene at the end of Cathouse was really enjoyable. Outrage is very intense, and seeing Culp go berserk was quite chilling.
Have a WONDERFUL time in China!! If you see Chuang-Tzu, keep your cool and report back any wisdom he has to offer. )))
Thanks for all the cool stuff you turn up Tatia. The number one item on my wish list right now is Married Alive, the 1970 TV movie with Robert Culp and Diana Rigg. (I figure it can't hurt to mention it.)
Have fun on your trip. We will do our best to walk the straight and narrow in your absence.
