In the "Get A Life" Category ....

O.K. I admit it, we've got it bad .... our interest and delight in a 40 year old television show is probably not the most average of pastimes .... and our enjoyment and admiration just grows and grows as time goes by!

But I have to tell you, I just discovered that we may not be the most severely afflicted souls of "I SPY-itis" out there .... I think that honor may belong to someone named "Jean G." Jean, you see, haunts the corridors of a website that finds movie mistakes. It also apparently covers the minutiae of errors found in television shows, too - because Jean G. appears to be the world's #1 devoted devotee of "I SPY's" filming and continuity mistakes!


The "errors" that she has identified run the gamut from things like:

"Continuity: Season 3, "Rome... Take Away Three": At the end, an overhead shot of Scott and Kelly shows them at the bistro table seated more than a foot apart. When we cut to a ground level shot, however, they're shoulder-to-shoulder."

.... to things like:

"Continuity: Season 3, "Tonia": Scott enters the cantina wearing a yellow sweater. When he rescues Tonia from the bar brawl, his sweater is blue. In the next shot, it's yellow again."




So far, Jean G. is all by her lonesome over there, but she has already racked up a list of 21 "errors" so far (in her view) and appears to be adding more daily.
