That Other Series ...

Think we might put our heads and resources and contacts (Ernie Frtankel comes to mind) together to see if we can get us a video set of MY FRIEND TONY? If VHS masters were ever created from the film original, I'm perfectly willing to create DVD masters we can duplicate amongst ourselves.

Hi there John Tiger,

So nice to see that you are still out there.

Knowing how copyright issues are viewed, I don't think contacting Mr. Frankel is the way to go.

Have you checked in with the "Paley Center for Media"? There's one in downtown Manhattan and one in L.A.

This is the old "Museum of TV and Radio." They have a gigantic video library open to the public for viewing. I was only able to visit there for less than an hour, but they had our Mr. Culp's Playhouse 90 presentation of Ingmar Bergman's "The Lie" and "The Movie Makers" co-starring Rod Steiger. It's truly a treasure-trove - and top on my list when I get back to New York some time. This might just be the place to catch MY FRIEND TONY!

Good hunting .... hope all is well with you!

All my best,

Tatia
