Hi everyone,
Back from another quick "photo shoot" and will be heading out to another assignment soon. Seems that those promised WI-FI connections are not all they should be, and I have had spotty luck with them.
Glad everyone enjoyed
Kelly/Culp/Chuang-Tzu's Birthday Greetings and our
10th Anniversary Milestone. I hope more of you out there will stop in to say hi and help us celebrate the occasion!!
In the meantime, I still have several things to post and share. First, thank you again as ALWAYS, Jimmy. I really enjoy your audiolinks so
very much. Great "Swashbuckling Quiz," B-L. Seems the gang was on the "cutting edge" with their answers (O.K. groan-groan

), and I even noticed Snoopy had stopped in at the wardrobe department and was dressed in style.
Maya, looks like B-L summed up Kelly perfectly --- complex, not that emotionally stable but covering it perfectly, bright, quick, adaptable, thinking-on-his feet, but a loner who relies on Scotty for balance in his life and as someone to
truly trust in the big bad world of big bad people out there. His relationships with women are fleeting and superficial, both because of the nature of his profession - and - because of who he is as a person. He can be totally charming and captivating one moment, but can turn on a dime to be totally ruthless and cold-blooded. Yes, one very complex man ....

And this article was just in the
Washington Post.... ALL STAR CAST TO PAY TRIBUTE TO COSBY.
This lists all the stars that will honor our Scotty at the "Mark Twain Award for Humor" at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC on Oct. 26th.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/20/AR2009082001867.html
According to the article, Jerry Seinfeld will host with help from Chris Rock. Also on hand will be Dick Gregory, Wynton Marsalis, Willie Nelson, Sinbad, Carl Reiner, George Lopez, Phylicia Rashad and Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Rita Moreno and Danny Glover. This is the 12th Annual Mark Twain Award for Humor and it also says ... The 72-year-old Cosby is a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors in 1998 and a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2002.
Yes, yes!! - There is one
very glaring omission on that list!!?? I do hope Kelly is there (at least in the audience) to help Scotty celebrate ... WHAT are they thinking????
They
will be showing an "I SPY videoclip" during the evening. Peter Kaminsky, one of the producers, was in touch with the FORUM earlier on - and the "I SPY FORUM" will be listed thanking us for our assistance.
Faithful Tonto and I were able to get tickets way upstairs in the Peanut Gallery. I understand the evening is totally sold out.
And you will be able to see this all, too. It is being taped and will be shown on PBS channels around the country on Nov. 4th.

And speaking of our amazing Scotty, this article was ALSO in the Washington Post, about another of his socially-conscience and community efforts ...
Bill Cosby urges 'no more cuts' for Pa. schools
"Comedian Bill Cosby finds nothing funny about cutting school funding. Public education can make the difference between success and failure in life for many children, and cutting school funding makes the task more difficult, Cosby said Wednesday at a packed rally in the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg .... He said taxpayers get their money's worth from their investment in public schools. He said it costs less than $5,000 a year to educate a young person but $33,000 a year to incarcerate someone."

You Gotta love this man .... and all he has done!!!
As always,
Tatia
