My next question: my pet theory all along is that the "Roman" we knew from 1981-1984 as Wayne Northrup was not really "Roman" at all, but was actually John (it's complicated, I know -- if you're interested I can post a link to where I spell the whole thing out in detail). It's not that John isn't John -- it's that who we THOUGHT was Roman all those years ago wasn't actually Roman at all.

I want to believe that. But the show just doesnt want to let go that it might be possible.

This confusion reminds me of how over on Passions for years they hinted that Chad could be Eve and Julians son. Sometimes we were given direct hints. Others red herrings. Never any true confirmation either way. Now though there finally settling it,having Chad be there son.... For now.

This is what I'm wondering could be happening with Johns storyline. Where for all intense purposes despite all the hints. He's John. But eventually the show may just make him Roman after all.

I didn't mean to stir up controversy over this, but all throughout this storyline have been hints of John being Roman. You have to know show history to recognize the hints, or at least be listening carefully.

Reilly does like to throw out red herrings, but sometimes the dialogue is just to blatant to be ignored. Since we just had the revelation on Passions with Julian, I'm thinking John being Roman could actually happen. I just think the people who are giving out a few spoilers aka AlexB and Chill, just don't know this info yet.

You're right Chandor, I was referring to the original 7 murder suspects. I know I shouldn't really believe Corday but I can remember him insisting that the murderer is one of the 7. So since we now know that no one really died I was wondering if the MM or someone who is helping the MM is one of the 7.
