Patrick, so who cares if Brody works out, the character has no personality, and I am sick to death of that blank stare for all expression.
Jan, she is too psychotic to ever be redeemed.
Rex, he is an alien freak, and the only aspect of his personality is his obession with sex, boring.
Cassie, she has not been on and is not missed.
Roman, he is not Roman so get rid of him.
Billie, she was a bust last time, no need for her this time
Kate, she is too obsessed with her boring kids.
Philip, send him to war, and do a topical storyline, have him die in battle/
Nicole, out her for her sins and ship her to prison
Colin, have him really murdered this time and have Jack, Jennifer, Bo, and Victor as suspects.

For me that was an ideal, not a realistic picture. The only remote reason it is real-ish is because I omitted characters where I knew the actor was dead like Tom Horton or Lee DuMonde, probably should have left Jo Johnson off in deference to the original actress who played her.

I still say they should make Craig a Dimera. They never really talked about his background or family, and I LOVED the old bad Wesley's. Can you imagine if he found out he was Tony's cousin, what havoc he could cause in Salem?! Not to mention the wrench it would throw into the BROE storyline finding out Chloe is a Dimera. (this would also tie in Stefano's interest in Chloe on the plane)

Tracie, that scenario would make me welcome Chloe back. (Something I thought was impossible 5 minutes ago.)

Craig as a DiMera that would be great. He was such a fun bad guy. You found yourself routing for him.

Wouldn't John just flip his lid to find his son is dating a DIMERA, Brady thinks he gets flak about Nicole, he ain't seen nothing yet. Plus if he married her, could we see a Kiriakis/DiMera alliance.

Now there is a storyline with potential. Hey Days writers - take note Tracie has a great idea, send her a check for $500 and use it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really would like to see Bart remain on as a character, even if he's only a recurring cast member. I think he provides comic relief and I really enjoy his interactions with the DiMeras.

Agreed. Maybe Bart can be Vicot's butler since Henderson seems to have disappeared or perhaps he could get a job at the pub or at Basic Black.

I never thought of that, but that would be a good idea. I remember when Stephano and Chloe were on the plane together, I thought some how he was going to turn out to be her father because they seemed to have had a connection. But like a lot of Days storylines it was never explained (ie. what happened to Johna and Wendy among others) But ufortunately Days does not care what the fans want, so that probably will never happen.

Why does everyone want to get rid of Grandpa Shawn?
He is the one man on the show who is honest, nice, sweet, and one of the best older character's (aside from Alice). I would gladly dispose of Mickey, Bonnie, Victor,and Maggie before Grandpa Shawn.

This is my updated version. Still a bit on the long side but I'd rather have these characters on daily than not. Some of them I couldn't decide on so I left them in. Many of the older folks don't have strong storylines with the exception of Maggie and Mickey. The others could easily be expendable if it were not for seniority and length of time they have been on.
