Wasn't this story hailed as something never before seen in a soap?
So far, I have seen everything that has happened and most of it on Days before.
Am I missing the big picture?
Doesn't seem to be anything twisting about "DiMera Did It" (Again)!
Even the people being alive is no big deal. The dead being alive is nothing new on Soaps especially Days. I'll grant that I didn't think ALL of the victims would live again, but as I watched them die I assumed some would be back again. I mean if Soapdish could revive Rod Randall (*grin*) then Days could certainly raise a few murder victims.
Death on Days has never been permanent. How many times has Marlena "died" now? Stefano? Tony? Roman? Hope?
the twist is that never in the history of soaps has a network nor the show's producers allowed a writer to continue to alienate large numbers of fans, and to destroy a soap without firing said hack.
reilly had it in a magazine what was never done before was
the murderer(marlena) and the victims( we know who they are) all end up on an island alive TOGETHER and all become equal victims to the host.... including the murderer.
Well when this SL is over it might look much clearer. But have you seen the latest twist. Its a spoiler so stop reading if you don't want to know (the articel is in one of mags).

Apparntly Tony killed Stefano, and remember tony had that blood disease well he has drained Stefano's blood and transfered it over to him(Tony). Well that is just sick and from my stand point I don't think soaps have ever done that before. It sounds interesting to me, but it could come off looking silly.
This has been done before I mean now Tony has gone insane and everything is like the Psycho movie with him keeping a dead stefano and talking to a corpse. JER did this same thing on Passions. All he's doing is recycleing the same old stuff. Never done before is nothing but bull@&it.
but JER EVER THE HACK rewrote history. In doing so, he wrote Tony as Renée's half-brother, so that means he committed incest. Also, Renée was his first love, but his greatest love was Anna. JER ruined the whole storyline. Stefano treated Tony as badly as he did John, Marlena, Roman, Bo, and Hope. He had Tony imprisoned for months, chained, and stuck in a motorcycle helmet a la THE MAN IN THE IRON MASK. Tony also never forgave Stefano for killing Daphne. For most of the 80's up until Tony disappeared he fought Stefano. But leave it to the hack and his THW history mentality, he ruined history and Tony for his idiotic plot obsession.
