just how does Stefano have a corpse if he got cremated?? I mean I know that Tony could've faked the ashes, but I thought that they had been tested before, yes or no? Also, what did Stefano's blood have to do with Tony anyways when he wasn't supposed to be his real father?? Sorry if this has came up before, I haven't really looked in a while. If the show has given an ACTUAL "explanation" for this I would love to know what as I haven't watched in a while, just reading here and there. If not, are we to just assume that it couldn't have been Stefano in the urn??

There are a lot of things the show hasnt explained, mate. Others 'mysteries' include how the serial killer's victims were appearing as ghosts (when they were supposedly alive and well on the island) and also how the victims bled (Doug, Marlena), when they were unharmed but shot with darts. It happens from time to time when the story is written in another direction. Its indication of a plot change. The viewers are supposed to 'conveniently' forget they ever happened...

Yep this all reeks of re-writes and that annoys me. I was strung along for over a year trying to piece everything together only to have this be served to me as an explanation.

I would love to know the original ending.

I'll admit that my medical knowledge isn't strong, but this is the first I've ever heard of a blood transfusion curing a blood disease! As for Stefano NOT being Tony's father...yes we were told about twenty years ago that Tony was actually fathered by a DiMera gardener named Enrico, but I think it's been more than fifteen years since anyone in Salem has memtioned that plot twist. Tony was switched back to being Stefano's blood son in the late 80's and that's the way it's remained. This means, of course, that Tony committed incest when he slept with Renee, his half-sister.

Ah, so it seems, insider! I am not surprised that they were gonna cancel Days and I don't think that at the end of the 5 yr deal that they will renew it again. But I hate to think of my all time fav soap going out like that, because it really isn't like it used to be. I can see why JER has gotten fired before as he cannot write.

JER was NOT fired, he left to start PASSonit. The idiots at the network love him, and inbetween DAYS and the time PASS came on the aire he was made Head Writer for Sunset Beach. The fans are upset, the fans are protesting, the fans want him gone but Sheraton Kalouria loves his work. Now we are getting four more teens, plus the Scooby Gang. It also appears that yet again some of the veteras will disappear as yet again some are presumed dead. Wow, I thought we were to have a happy Thanksgiving. Rumors are Jack and Marlena are part of that group; we know Thaao is off for some time as well. The poor Maggie will return to see the ruined nuMickey with bimbo, boozing Bonnie. Things look worse and worse. Yet NBC does nothing.

Well either way JER cannot write. Not to be rude, but my original question was has the show actually "explained" yet how Stefano has a corpse when he was supposed to be cremated? I haven't been watching because of work and lack of interest to tape or watch on soapnet. Anyways, I do agree with yall though. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if Marlena disappeared for a while (how original btw lol) because she has been on the front burner for a while now. How come people know that this wasn't the orginal story but yet noone knows the real ending. Seems to me if the clues were there, then it was the original considering Marlena's behavior towards John and Tony's behavior. He even had the PDA, etc,,,, In my opinon it was a little TOO obvious. Nothing shocking about any of this. Oh well!

I've read two supposedly original endings to this story, one on here with Marlena killing Belle and going to a new show and another on Coffeerooms with Andre posing as Roman. If you can tell us Days Insider (or maybe later when it's all over??) what was the ORIGINAL (before it was all changed) storyline to be and who was the original Mastermind. Also was there a New Dimera and who was that supposed to be.

They were thinking of making Jan a DiMera, but that changed...now when Tony returns in mid-05' he will return with a new DiMera, who will probably be the nemesis for the 'next generation' of hortons and bradys (ie. shawn and belle). he will be either introduced as tony's son or tony's nephew, Phoenix Dimera. It seems Stefano's days are indeed truly numbered....

The show wants Kristen and Peter back as well...
