1. Reilly was only going to be writing for DOOL for about a year or so, and then another HW was to take over.

2. Corday wants to change the direction of DOOL to make it more attractive to ABC in hopes that if a. NBC cancels before the 5 years is up, or b. after the 5 years is up they will pick up the show.

Can any insiders confirm, or deny these rumors?

We can only hope, I am not usually one to even complain about the show because I know its a show I guess I just remember how wonderfully written it used to be and in fact imo DOOL in the 80's invented the phrase supercouples. I even hate sometimes the way it is filmed it just looks so fake sometimes and don't get me started on the flashbacks, I tivo the show and it usually only takes me about 20 minutes to get through a whole show lol
