I thought the same thing, however all of the speculation and clue searching we did for the past 18 months or so wound up to be moot. There is really no point in watching closely for clues anymore. A clue dropped today will be re-written over, poorly I might add, or worse yet ignored all together.

For the most part I don't care, but hope it is a clue. That way in a few years when I care again and they have new writers Tony can come back.

I agree with those that say there is no point in looking for clues anymore. It was fun when it seemed they meant something, but now we know that most of them meant nothing at all. It's too bad, because it could have been good. They just didn't have the courage to make this into anything more then a plot point to set up more endless triangles.
