Why do the writers make Sami so crazy!! She was crazy today, throwing things, screaming, saying that she hopes John never walks again. She is not an angry teenager anymore, I wish they would stop making her act as if she was....
Thank you! I agree with you 100%! The last few weeks, she's been pretty good, and acted happy except when she found out about her parents, but now they're making her crazy again. I like Sami, but I mean who does that? I'm sure plenty people act like that, but I don't know anyone like that, and I'm glad. I really do like her though when they have her acting like an adult.
I agree that Sami has been lashing out a bit more then usual, however...the poor girl has been through a lot.
And yes, agreed she should not be talking about John that way, but she's always been angry with John...for a really long time. She's trying to have a normal life...but stupid Kate will stop a nothing to make that happen. I think Kate is crazy if you ask me...meddling in all her children's lives. I can't believe she'd want to break up Bo and Hope for Billie. You'd think she'd have morals. Sami just needs to get away for a while with Lucas and get her life together...I mean she will be going away for some time when she's giving birh to her baby, so maybe on her return she might be a new Sami.
I agree she is completely nuts and she has been for years. She is less mature than Will. You would think that since her mother is a psychiatrist, she would insist that her daughter get some help. But Ali does do a good job playing Psycho Sami.
I think a better word to describe sami is "emotional". If we are talking "nuts" as in "completely delusional and insane" that description is more appropraite for characters like tony or jan.
In sami's defense Kate is out to get her. And she just found out that her parents are dead....again. I would have never told her that her parents were actually alive but now they are "really" dead. Why would you tell someone that. If I were those people I would just let Abby and Sami and who ever else it effects go on thinking that their parents were dead the first time. Why pour salt on the wounds and tell them that "Oh we were wrong the first time but now they're really dead." I mean how heartless can you get. Ok i didn't mean for this to turn into a rant but oh well...

I agree, Sami is very emotional but not crazy. Kate is crazy I really believe Sami would be okay if Kate would leave her alone. I don't get why fans and characters alike remember the bad things Sami did, but not what other "pillars" of Salem did. I could make a list for Kate, Marlena, Maggie, Julie, Nicole, and come on Lexie - and that is just the ladies. I mean this is a soap, there is very few characters that have nothing in their pasts that wouldn't make most people social outcasts.
As for the point about telling Abby, Sami, etc. about their parents. I agree especially for Abby. Telling them oops your parents are dead again really wasn't well thought out.
The sad thing is,, you can be written as normal/nuts/phsyco/crazy.. what ever Sami is these days,, lol, but it helps if it is written WELL. Sami only has one volume,, LOUD! The actress is doing a great job with what she is given,, if only they would give her something worth doing. I dont have to be in the room to know Sami is on,, "yell yell" ,, "you killed my parents",, "yell yell",, "how can you ruin my wedding",, "yell yell".. Wow,, I think I just wrote a script,, lmao!
Sami is not nuts she is just missunderstood,I don't blame her I would be pissed if my wedding had to be pushed back. Sami has felt that way ever since she saw John and Marlena doing it at the titian buliding, I think it would be nice if the writters resolved those haterid toward John , he tries to be their for sami, and she wants nothing to do with him. This is you normal stepfather step kid behavor.
Sami is my favorite female character..however I AGREE with you 100%! They are making her look so stupid, screaming and crying and yelling and flying off the handle tellin everyone to go to hell, and die. Its just stupid now.
When I wrote "Sami is nuts" I really meant that she is way, way, too over the top emotional! I did not mean nuts as in crazy--sorry for the confusion. I just really like Sami (the charactor) as well as the actress. I just wish that the writers would let her grow up. It is frustrating for me to watch her appear to be getting more normal and mature and then see her flip out the way she does. I want to see Sami evolve into a more respectalbe and "likeable" person in Salem. I want her to earn respect. We all know that Sami is misunderestood and has been through a lot (duh) and that when she become so angry, and is yelling and screaming, that it is all a big defense mechanism...but come on already! I am sick of waiting for Sami to grow up, straighten out, appreciate the people who care about her, etc.
Sami is my favorite charactor on the show so this is not a slam on Allison Sweeny, I think she does a terrific job as Sami.
