The way i figure it Josh, you can make back the money you spent in no time. Myself and others are willing to fork over $$ for shows we want copies of. But I understand that you have to watch first and figure out what show is where.

But let us know if you change your mind! winks

I got them from my Aunts friend, her friend is moving and my aunt found out that she had all these tapes we are all days fans, she did not want them anymore and my aunt called me three days ago and told me she had these tapes of Days and wanted too know if I would like to have them, I said yeah, I would! I just got them today. I can't belive it she got some of them off Ebay, and she recorded them since she got her first vcr. Some tapes are not very good. I am gooing to find out if anyone else on the net has copies of the ones that are damaged.

VCR???

Joshua...I don't doubt you have alot of old tapes from your aunt...but are they really VHS tapes? I vaguely recall when video recorders came out...and they weren't promonent until the 80's (at least that's when I "rented" my first one and taped my daughter on TV once). What format will you able to copy them into (DVD...VHS) or do you think you can offer them on the internet as downloads? I think people are willing to pay...just want to understand the quality of what we might be able to get. Thanks.

He may be looking at having some "second generation" VHS tapes, or, God forbid, Beta tapes!

You have suddenly become the most popular guy in the Days world internet. Hope you are prepared! You'll be able to make a lot of extra money. I know there's a website (and I'm sure there's somebody here who knows what it is) that has the day/weekly occurrences chronicled so that you would be able to match up the dates of your tapes with what happened that week from the website.

If you make a tape/DVD containing all of the major weddings (Roman (Northrup) & Marlena, Bo & Hope (the first time), Kim & Shane, Steve & Kayla, Jack & Jen) - I think those are all since 1981. That would be a bestseller! Also a great Christmas present for people to buy. I know it's too late this year, but there's birthdays and next Christmas to look forward to. That tape would be timeless!

I don't know if I want to make copies of the or not, that is a good idea. I just finished 1981 82, and I am starting on year 83. I loved the Salem Slasher storyline.

You lucky guy, I wish I kept my tapes from the 80's I would love the Wedding of Bo and Hope, they are my favorite, stayed home from work that day. My mom does have some Patch and Kayla, tapes, but the quality is not that good, they are 18 years old and been taped over many times.
