Okay, there is a new rumor going around the web about how the show is going to wrap up this whole year and a half of nothing but fan complaining pandemonium. If this goes off, I for one will be so happy. I love the way this looks and I hope that it happens 100%.

Patrick would be a Lockhart but would be Hope's doctor! And he's been talking to her in her comatose state all this time and has fallen in love with her.
Bonnie would just be the maid to everyone still.
Mickey would have died from natural causes and Maggie would move on with Tony!
Tony would be in jail all this time for trying to kill Hope. Hope will remember it was Rex and Tony would go free with a new vendetta to settle for being in jail all this time.
Rex would go to jail but would be under Marlena's care who would learn she was programmed to kill Bo and Hope.
Shawn D would have started going out with Mimi.
Lucas and Sami would just be discovering they love each other.
Jack and Jennifer would have still had a little boy.
Jan would be back with her parents and her little sister Chelsea.
Nicole would be in jail for killing Colin and Brady would be in Europe with Chloe running Titan from there.
No Georgia or Colin back from the dead.
These are just some of the things I overheard discussed. They would explain all of the inconsistancies in the storyline and the touch of Patrick talking to Hope everyday would help intertwine some of what happened in to Hope's dreams such as Jenn having a baby. There would be many flashbacks showing what actually happened while Hope was sleeping. As Hope is getting back to herself, there would be a murder and it would be somehow connected to her "dream."

Now most of you will be pissed that DAYS is re-doing Dallas, but would you rather be thrown into a whole new story that will probably take us further deep down into the raitings (can you say escape from Captive Castle?), or would you like this thing wrapped up in a couple of weeks and have our characters back to the way they were? All of the out of character crap that we were watching would be made up and the show could, again, have potential. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be true!
I really didn't want a dream sequence, but I would take ANYTHING to erase all the crap that has happened. I wouldn't mind the Sami playing "The Sims" bit either.
Game, dream, book/move, anything to erase everything from August 03 to now: no murders, no islands, no mixed up couples, no fauxLockharts, no EQMickey, no cage, no idiot boy abuser ShawnDork, no abortion, no idiot Jennifer, no Billie, no Georgia, no Dr. Evil Lite Tony, no islands, no Japanese Fishing Trowlers, no castle Neuschawnstein, no motorcycles through sacred Church stained glass windows, etc., etc., etc.
It is a cop out, but considering how everything is so screwed up, the characters and couples ruined, the pathetic explanations given for the murders, and the irrational reasons for Tony's hatred, people forgetting their soulmates a cop out is the only way to fix things, and fix them quickly so that things can start fresh and the show can hopefully go back on track.
I LOVE the Lockhart family, but they are being severely misused. We need some working-class people on this show. Everyone has money and no one works. At least Bonnie ATTEMPTS to clean. lol
There's also a speculation upon another twist, which involves Marlena having been in a coma, and having dreamt all of this. Just imagine; Marlena has been in a coma since the pin prick in 2002 or somewhat later and she has dreamt all that has been going on since then. Her family members and friends have been visiting her telling her what has been happening and she has twisted all things around in her mind.
John told her that Tony put her in a coma and she has twisted it around to the whole Island thing. The Island was actually a dream metaphor for her coma. She killed all those people and they were brought to the Island, but this is only a metaphor for how she has twisted the story's friends and family have told her around to the bad side of things.
Would be a great Freudian twist, Marlena's Island just being this state of coma. Shawn would be back with Belle, nothing would have happened between Marlena and Roman and John and Kate, Tony would be innocent and could be redeemed (or there would be nothing to have him redeemed for).
Maybe this could have another twist, for example that Marlena has made Tony her master in her dreams. Maybe this means she wants him deeply.
