It seems that they would be step brother and sister since Roman and Kate are married right? In never really occured to me before, but it just seems odd. They were together first, I think Kate and Roman should never have hooked up. Some people don't keep tabs on the "step" situation when it involves grown kids, but either way they are all family technically.

ok, heres another case of keeping it in the family. What about Doug and Julie? think it goes something like this: Hope and Julie have same mother, different dad, and Doug was with Addie their mother, then married Julie, which made her technically his stepdaughter before he married her. ewwwww

Eh, Doug and Julie were deeply in love BEFORE Doug married Addie and that was on a whim after a blowup with Julie. Once Hope was born, the love was real and Doug really respected Addie, and Addie changed her ways. I consider this different than most cases!

Sami and Lucas also, despite different writers, were in love long before Kate and Roman were even looking at erach other, forget married.

Look at Belle, Shawn, and Phillip, though. They shouldn't even look at each other because of those family connections that had been there logn before most of them were really born! The whole John/Roman mess (being a Brady, Shawn and Belle) and, of course Isabella/John connection (Phillip and Belle), past Kiriakis/Brady connections (Caroline, Kim). I think your right, about Phil and Belle, but thing is, Im sure it would've only be relation by marriage. Now that their aren't married because of her death, I don't think there is any connection anymore. Also, Phil was born after/or very close to when John and Isabella were already married and she died.

In my real world (and family) NONE of these close relations relationships would fly. I think of people that are as closely related to me as those on the soap and there is no way on God's green earth that I would endorse ANY of those relationships. ICKY!

Correct me if I'm wrong...but if John was ever to marry Kate (GOD FORBID), then technically, Phil and Belle would have to get a divorce because stepbrothers can't be married to their stepsisters. That might also make Sami biologically unreachable for Lucas (another GOD FORBID).
