I have stated on here many times that the only Bart and Mimi are genuinely funny. Does anyone else on the show regularly make you laugh? Or is the mission of the show (and soaps in general) for characters to always be angry, bitter, confused, revengeful, etc. Watching Days makes me frustrated for than anything else. Why not a more positve, humorous brand of writing?
i remember a long time ago (when john learned he was not roman), john on the docks in salem dancing or working to the village people song macho man.. evrytime i think of that scene i laugh, especially since it is the serious john black! but i hope someone else remembers that from way back because i know i did not dream that scene happened! it was toooooo funny!
Mimi is not funny. Funny to look at. Funny that Farah thinks she's an actress, but not funny. Bart is pretty funny. Jan is also funny. especially when she goes all psycho.
BUT the "Proud to be an American" logo has nothing to do this posting. Especially the shameless politicing of placing Bush in the ad. I do agree that Jack is as funny as Bart and Mimi. The others listed have had a few humorous moments, but are not naturally funny (in my opinion). Bart brings out the best in everyone... Tony, Stefano, Rolf and of course his great scene with Mimi was almost better than the classic "whose on first".
I thought that when Greta fixed Jack and Harold up on a date was hilarious. I also think Bart is funny. Mimi used to be, but not lately. Days needs more momments like this.
Are you guys all forgetting Susan Banks???? She was by far , one of the funniest people to watch on that show. She was a laugh a minute. Jack is pretty funny too!
I would have to say Tony, because his facial expressions are sometimes the funniest, and when he says something that's really funny, he looks down and you can tell that he's grinning like hell!!!!
Then there's Bart, who is genuinly funny, Steve doesn't even have to try to be funny, and that scene with Mimi was pure gold!!! And when he's with Tony, he's brilliant, they look so natural in those scenes, and they keep me laughing hard!!!
Then there's Jack, who I think has a very good sense of humor, then Bonnie I guess.
Oh, and Stefano and Dr.Rolf and Larry Welch!!! I love those three!!!!
the show is not regularly funny. Jack and Mimi are really the only "regulars" on the show with a funny personality. And the character of Mimi has been ruined. Bart (Steve) is a comedic genius that makes everyone around him great (Tony, Rolfski, Stefano). Bart should be placed on regular status. Others on the show and bit players like Susan Banks (I luv youuuuu) have had their moments.
