I'm new to posting on Kim's board but I've been reading the posts for a long time now and have enjoyed it very much. I also was over to visit Baby B's site and found alot of it restricted and when I tryed to join the group I was told they were not excepting memberships at this time. Does anyone know what happen to change things? I know Baby was having problems with people posting stuff Baby wrote but to suddenly restict the site without notice to those of us who do read and not post anywhere I don't think is fair. The next thing you know you'll have to post a certain number of times to stay a member. I can't stay on the computer all day long and just post. I have a job to go to for 8 hours plus drive time of 2. I don't tape Days and I can't watch it since I'm working so the only way I can find out what is going on is to read the sites. Kim's and Baby's were the only 2 I read. Thanks in advance.
As for the login name. What I did is just added a number to the name I wanted to use. Then it went through. I was not a happy camper at all. I understand the reasons why. It just made more work. So much for looking at her site while I'm at work on break.
So wait...we are supposed to register for secret passwords to get crappy spoliers about an even crappier show? No thanks. Wake me when Salem gets it's heart back...
A LOT of forums, netwide, have come to the point of making people join to view the spoilers. It allows them to know who's taking them and pasting them to other places. And it's not the whole forum on Baby's site, it's just the Spoiler section and Ask Baby section. It's not difficult. If you don't want to be bothered, just don't go there.
There are no minimum posts to read the spoilers or anything like that...you can just lurk if you want, but you do have to join Network 54 and then apply to join Baby B's forum....30 secs to a minute is all it takes.

I am only posting a reply because I am mentioned and wanted to offer you a reason why! Please do not turn this into a bash me thread for everyone's sake including Kim the board owner.
There were some problems with some people trying to start trouble and some comments made on another board about a possible board war. I am just trying to protect the people who like to read the spoilers from all that bs and to protect the work I do to get the spoilers. It's not very fair for one person to do the homework, then have everyone is class copy it from you!
I only did it to keep people from trying to start trouble and I hope you understand. I do not require that you have to even post there and the other forums are open to everyone still. But for people like you who like to just go in and read the spoilers, I don't want you to have to deal with the garbage out there as well.

Board war? Gah. No offense honey but no one cares enough about pics of Alison Sweeney's kid or made up rumors about an aborted fetus or "it's all just a dream" to go through the aggravation of registering for the right to reap such crapola.
This is ridiculous! I am the one that made a comment about a "board war" on another board. I did not mean that I was trying to start one, or that there even WAS one going on. UGH.. I explained this on BB's board, yet she doesn't seem to get it! I WAS NOT STARTING A BOARD WAR BY SAYING THAT "board wars are horrible things" or whatever it is similar that I said.
I said this BECAUSE .. I have seen firsthand the stupid, immature things that go on when 2 boards seem to go at it. People who enjoy both boards get stuck in the middle and end up no longer feeling comfortable to post on one or both of the boards.
Now, please - I am the one that made the "board war" comment. Drop it!

That Baby's board HAS become fairly restrictive. There are very few posts of interest that are not "protected". At first Baby said it was okay to post her spoilers on Kim's board, and then she changed it to a link only. Well, there is no point posting a link if people can't read them. (Not that I ever posted spoilers anyway.)
I used to enjoy reading Baby's board. I have read several places about board wars and fan wars and that this is the reason so many boards are demanding you join and are banning people. It is a mess I want no part of and don't have time for.
I'm so discouraged about Days I've about decided to give it up and devote my energies to figuring out "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" instead.
The whole thread referring to a board war was deleted from their site--I know you are not trying to start trouble, it was some other posts that WeirdWend was smart enough to delete.
Just an observation... I've had no problem reading/registering on either BB's or Kim's website. They are both great! And I've posted or asked questions on both. I find them both moderators to be congenial towards each other. But that's just my opinion. Kind regards.
My main concern when I typed up this message in the first place was to find out why Baby restricted part of her site so suddenly. I could read it in the morning and later that day I couldn't. And to blow off steam. Nothing more. I have since been able to sign up with no problem. I don't read all the parts of Baby's site because I have no need to read all of it. I haven't watched Day's for god knows how long. Whatever info I get is from sites like this one & Baby's. Both are great & very well run. I may not post often but I do read both sites at least once per day. I think this is one thread that could be laid to rest.
