Last year GH lost Lila in real life and AMC lost Phobe in real life recently.
What other actors have died in real life while on Dool or otehr soaps?

In 1982 Brenda Benet killed herself.She played Lee

Steve Shaw who played Eric Fairgate on and off "Knots Landing" since the series started was killed in a car accident at age 25 during the 11th season.

Another "Knots" actor, Larry Reilly (Frank Williams) died at age 38 just two months after the season 13 finale. The show had gone on hiatus for retooling. When it returned, his appearance was so gaunt and shocking that it made the news and "Entertainment Tonight". I remember my mother letting out a gasp when she saw him. After he died, I think his wife revealed to the press that he had AIDS. Apparently he had a drug problem.
Season 13 is currently what's airing on SOAPnet weekdays, so that episode(s) should be airing within the next week or the next. You can already see that he's starting to lose a lot of weight. It's sad and uncomfortable watching and seeing what's happening and then knowing what ultimately happens.

An actress who had a small role on Y&R was shot and killed in 2003.

There was an actress on Y&R who died abruptly of stomach cancer and had to be recast (she played Callie, as I recall--I remember when they had the new actress on there was a voiceover that sayd "Due to the sudden passing of (I can't remember the actress's name) the role of Callie is now being played by...") This would've been about five or six years ago.

That actress' name is Michelle Williams, and she was alsom on Family Matters playing Myra, who had a thing for Urkel, I was sad when I heard about that, she was only 23 (I think)

Also, Madlyn Rhu who played Daphne DiMera and Ricahrd t. Biggs who played Marcus on DOOL.

On PASSIONS recently, David Bailey, who played Allistair Crane drowned in his swimming pool on Thanksgiving, he was only 71.

I was tears up when I hear in 1989, when Douglas Waston the actor pass-away from heart attack, play by Mac Cory, he is my favorite all the time Another World Character as Mac Cory bring light up and Greats on screen, he is really loving and fun to watch, he care about friendship and famailie's on Another World Nobody can do like him on Today's soaps. I am so grateful Soapnet for Rerun's again let me enjoy little time left watch this Character, we will loose him in couple of month, I wish they show earlier of Another World, see more Mac he really Charming,Witty, you can see lot's fire of Mac Cory,

back in 1992, when I was hear that Connie Ford play as (Ada Hobson) pass away from Cancer, she is more like Grandma to me, I love her Character with friendship and Familie like Douglas Waston (Mac),I just remeber her lot's scene with daugther Rachel & Nancy then Granddaugther Amanda, Grandson Jamie & Matt, some scene with Amanda daugther baby Alli, great grandma, she really riots fun to watch,

In early Feb 1993 Joy Garrett who played Jo Johnson (Jack's mom) on DAYS passed away suddenly from a liver ailment. She was on set and shooting up till a couple weeks before her death when she suddenly went into a coma. I still miss Joy.

I loved her. She was so (secretly) in love with Neil. Whenever I remember her, I see her singing "Once Upon a Time" to Noelle. It broke my heart when I heard she died.

Other Days actors who have died (but not while on the show) are Richard Biggs (Marcus), James Luisi (Duke Johnson-Jack's Dad), Christopher Stone (the last Bill Horton). I can't think of any others off hand.

Michelle Williams is the blond actress who starred in Dawson's Creek for a number of years. I just saw her on some talk show the other day promoting something new she is doing.

Oh yeah... I thought something was wrong with the name....

Michelle Williams is also a member of Destiny's Child.

He wasn't on the show at the time but Richard Biggs recently passed away suddenly at such a young age. They are still hosting benefits in his name as a memorial.
