SOAPNet
3/22/2005

Through a unique promotional partnership, Corday Productions, Inc. and SOAPnet, have joined forces to create a 2006 "Days of our Lives" calendar, it was announced today by Ken Corday, Executive Producer, "Days of our Lives" and Deborah Blackwell, General Manager, SOAPnet. The calendar will feature "Days of our Lives" stars including Deidre Hall, Kristian Alfonso, Peter Reckell, Drake Hogestyn, Melissa Reeves, Julie Pinson, Alison Sweeney, Bryan Dattilo and many others in various set-ups in and around the Alice's bar set from "Days of our Lives." This special 40th Anniversary edition will be available in fall 2005 on SOAPnet.com and will be distributed by Brown Trout. "I am thrilled that Days of our Lives will be working with SOAPnet on the 2006 Calendar as it gives us the opportunity to crossover into the cable market with this product. The calendar itself will be all that Days viewers could hope from picturing their favorite couples and storylines in 2006," said Corday. "Judging from the previous calendars, sales should be quite a hit!" "Corday Productions is a great partner," said Blackwell. "This collaborative effort will produce a calendar that combines the unique sensibilities of 'Days of our Lives' with the hip and contemporary SOAPnet brand. The calendar will honor the early years of 'Days' and represent the talent and the show in a way fans have never before seen." "Days of our Lives" is produced by Corday Productions Inc. in association with Sony Pictures Television. Executive producer Ken Corday is following in the tradition of his parents, Betty and Ted Corday, who created the show in 1965. Ken took over as Executive Producer in 1985 and continues to score the original music on the daily series. Steve Wyman is co-Executive Producer. James E. Reilly is the headwriter. Sony Pictures Television is one of the television industry's leading content providers. SPT produces and distributes top-rated, award-winning programming in every genre, including series, movies and family entertainment for network and cable television; first-run syndicated series; off-network syndicated programs; and theatrical releases. SPT is a Sony Pictures Entertainment company. SOAPnet, the new way to watch soaps, offers same-day episodes of popular daytime dramas including "All My Children," "Days of our Lives," "One Life To Live" and "General Hospital" at night for convenient viewing. In addition, the network provides inside access to stars and storylines with original programs, including the Emmy-nominated one-hour talk show, "Soap Talk," the biography show "Soapography," "1 Day With…" and the reality series "I Wanna Be A Soap Star." Wrapped in a 24-hour environment, SOAPnet also offers primetime classics including "Melrose Place," "Beverly Hills 90210," "Dynasty," "Dallas" and "Knots Landing," as well as former daytime series "Port Charles," "Ryan's Hope," and "Another World."
