Kirstin said that when the Aaron Spelling televison series was taken off the air, she thought it would be only fair to let Ken Corday know that she was interested in comming back to daytime. He called her in for a meeting to let her know that he was going to stick with Martha (now- Belle) for reasons she won't get into. She said that she repect his wishes. SO now she can move on to GH (General Hospital). I think if they can take Tony back after he told who the killer was before hand when he was fired. They should take her back she was the best Belle.

I understand what you are saying (I really miss Kirsten too) but there is a difference between Tony & Belle. Belle was "recasted", Tony was "not". Had another actor come in to play Tony, than it would be the same thing but he wasn't. Had Belle never been recasted and she "left Salem", where her character was just "gone", than most likely Kirsten would be back as Belle.

Well you know what...SHE wanted to leave the show. She left on her own accord. Martha is doing just as good, if not better in the role.

Although it wouldn't be the first time the show has pitched a recast for the orginal, Bo (PR-RKK-PR again) and Carrie (CC-TM-CC again) come easily to mind I think there are a few others if I gave it a second thought.

Course, I really don't care either way as I don't like Belle right now and it has nothing to do with the actresses. Although, I have a hard time seeing Kirsten Storms as Maxie, should be interesting to see if it works . . .

With the way Days is going now she's probably better off on GH...Days has become too much of a joke!
