John Ingall or John Clarke, Whom Is Mickey to You?

I prefer John Clarke and would love to see him reprise the role of Mickey Horton. Once again, I would love to see Mickey and Maggie's extended family come to the canvas; that being: Melissa and Sarah.

DUH!!! The answer to this question is obviously John Clarke!!! Although, in the last 8 years that I have been watching, he was hardly on enough for my liking so I don't really know what type of character her was, I guess many of you that have been watching for over 20 years would probably say he was great and that to some he used used to be a fave of yours but not anymore.

I keep my fingers crossed and hopefully (if ever) Reilly gets fired, that they hire John Clarke back, I think he left because he didn't like the storyline, and Suzanne Rogers wasn't there anymore, so I guess he missed her, that's why he jumped ship too (I don't think his health is very bad either because at the Emmys last year, he was jumping up and down and seemed really happy) I jut think that John Ingle is there for a temporarily amount of time.

Speaking of John Ingle, he is just not Mickey Horton to me, he should just go back to GH, and remain as Edward Quartermaine, cuz someone that looks 20 years younger than John is playing Edward now, and that's pretty lame if you ask me.

Sorry, I'm just not a big fan of recasts, I don't even like the new Belle, she's just so damn annoying, but with new Jan, I'll make an exception.

Plus, they have ruined every single character on DAYS, but they have ruined Mickey the most, especially when it comes to his personality, Mickey was NEVER so damn needy and pathetic, now he just waits on Maggie and Bonnie hand and foot, it's just so stupid.

Mickey was probably the most likeable character on DAYS, now he's a pathetic old geezer (No offence to John Ingle of course, I don't hate any of the actors).

So that's my answer: JOHN CLARKE!!!

Who's the real Mickey?

John Clark, of course. I think John "retired" because he saw the bad writing on the wall coming with Reilly and couldn't stomach it again. My hope is when Reilly is axed John will return.

I can't help but associate John Ingle with this dopey storyline he's been in since he started on the show. Nothing against him, but I'll say Clarke.

Who's NOT going to say Clarke?

He played the role for...what...30 years? He's Mickey. John Ingle is a fine actor doing a good job in a crappy storyline, but he's not the Mickey we all knew and loved.

It would be like...I don't know....Lisa Peluso coming in and taking over the role of Hope. Lisa's a fine actress with a great soap history, but Kristian Alfonso IS Hope. As good as Lisa is, we'd miss KA. All our memories of Hope are tied to Kristian. If they then ended up giving Hope an embarrassingly bad storyline, we'd hate it all the more...thinking of the good old days when Kristian was Hope and her storyline didn't suck. (Of course, some may think her storyline already sucks.)
